Material Matching 

Ontario Excess Soil provides a streamlined material matching service that connects source sites with qualified reuse sites across Ontario.

Our purpose is to help project owners, contractors, and consultants reduce soil disposal costs by diverting excess material away from landfills and directing it to approved reuse locations, where disposal costs are typically lower and environmental impact is minimized.

With oversight from a P.Eng. and Qualified Person (QP), each match is verified to meet the requirements of O.Reg. 406/19 and site-specific reuse criteria. This ensures regulatory compliance, cost savings, and responsible material management.
